LS MISA: Life Science Maryland Integrated Science Assessments
During the 2017-2018 school year and beyond, students take the Life Science Maryland Integrated Science Assessment (LS MISA). LS MISA is a series of science assessments in Grade 5, 8 and High School. These assessments provide educators, parents, and the public with information about student progress towards science literacy. High school students take the LS (Life Science) MISA after successfully completing high school coursework in life science (biology). LS MISA and Government are End of Course Assessments worth 20% of a student's final grade. For more information regarding the test, please visit the (opens in new tab) Maryland Assessments website.
MCAP Government
High school students take the MCAP Government EOC assessment after successfully completing high school coursework in government. MCAP Government is an End of Course Assessment worth 20% of a student's final grade. For more information regarding the test, please visit the (opens in new tab)Maryland Assessments website.
Data Interaction (DI)
Static and interactive reports showing student, school, district, and statewide performance information for MCAP Government and LS MISA are available to school test coordinators within the secure (opens in new tab)Data Interaction website.
