Welcome to the Maryland Help & Support page. The Maryland High School Assessments (HSA) are tests that measure school and individual student progress toward Maryland's High School Core Learning Goals.
MISA: Maryland Integrated Science Assessments
During the 2017-2018 school year and beyond, students take the Maryland Integrated Science Assessment (MISA). MISA is a series of science assessments in Grade 5, 8 and High School. These assessments provide educators, parents, and the public with information about student progress towards science literacy. High school students take the MISA after successfully completing high school coursework in all three main science disciplines: earth/space science, life science (biology), and physical science (chemistry and physics). For more information regarding the test, please visit the Maryland Assessments website.
Static and interactive reports showing student, school, district, and statewide performance information for HSA Government and HS MISA are available to school test coordinators within the secure Maryland Analysis and Reporting System (MARS) website.
