Reminder - May 2020 Administration Manuals

The digital copies of May 2020 Administration manuals have been posted to the Help & Support site ( The paper manuals will be arriving in districts and schools on April 14, 2020.

May 2020 Administration – Second Pre-ID window

The second Pre-ID window for the May 2020 Administration is April 6 – 15, 2020. This window has been extended due to spring break and holidays. LACs will be able to add additional enrollments and/or update student transfer information during this window. When creating the pre-ID file, please be sure to use the updated CSV template available through the HSA Portal and also provided on the MD Help and Support site (

  • Remember: Enrollments added that require paper accommodated materials must be ordered in the Additional Materials application within the HSA Portal. The window for ordering additional materials is April 28 – June 3, 2020.

Updated Training Modules

Additional HSA Training Modules have been added to the Help and Support site: Modules were recently added for transferring students within an LSS and transferring students from one LSS to another.

HSA Practice Tests

The online practice test site is now open. You no longer need a username and password to log into practice tests. You can access the practice test site from the Test Materials section of the Help and Support site: On the practice test site, click the menu to select a test. Then choose between the following tests:

  • HS Government Practice Test (no accommodations)
  • HS Government TTS Practice Test (text-to-speech accommodation)
  • HS Government ASL Practice Test (American Sign Language accommodation)
  • HS MISA Practice Test (no accommodations)
  • HS MISA TTS Practice Test (text-to-speech accommodation)
  • HS MISA ASL Practice Test (American Sign Language accommodation)
