The second Pre-ID window will be December 11 – 18, 2019. During this window you will be able to bulk upload additional updates to enrollments and/or accommodations. Paper materials will not be automatically ordered from records loaded during this time. You must order additional manuals or secure tests via the Additional Materials Order process.
The January 2020 Test Coordinator Manuals, Government Test Administrator Manuals, and HS MISA Test Administrator Manuals will be arriving to each LSS and schools on December 9, 2019. You can track this shipment on the Materials Management page in the HSA Portal. If you have not received your manuals by the 9th, please contact the HSA Help Desk.
The paper test materials for January 2020 will be arriving in each LSS and schools on December 16, 2019. These materials were ordered based on the upload files submitted in the first Pre-ID window for students marked for accommodations requiring paper. You can track this shipment on the Materials Management page in the HSA Portal. If you have not received your test materials by the 16th, please contact the HSA Help Desk.
The certification test window is November 14 - December 6, 2019. The purpose of this test is to allow local students, schools, and each LSS to go through the steps necessary for operational testing. This should be treated as a mock operational test. The actual test content will be practice test items to help familiarize the students with the testing platform.

Additional HSA Training Modules have been added to the Help and Support site: https://maryland.onlinehelp.cognia.org/training/. Modules were recently added for transferring students within an LSS and transferring students from one LSS to another.

The online practice test site is now open. You no longer need a username and password to log into practice tests. You can access the practice test site from the Test Materials section of the Help and Support site: https://maryland.onlinehelp.cognia.org/practice-test-materials/. On the practice test site, click the menu to select a test. Then choose between the following tests:
MSDE has updated their COMAR policy document (updated on 10/25/18). This updated document has been posted to the Maryland Help & Support Guides page under the Policy Documents button (https://maryland.onlinehelp.cognia.org/guides/).
