REMINDER: Certification Testing Window

The certification test window is November 14 - December 6, 2019. The purpose of this test is to allow local students, schools, and each LSS to go through the steps necessary for operational testing. This should be treated as a mock operational test. The actual test content will be practice test items to help familiarize the students with the testing platform.

  • Technology Coordinators must install the HSA Kiosks and TestMonitor (if it is deemed necessary) before the beginning of the certification test window.
  • Prior to operational testing, test coordinators should utilize the Certification Test to:
    • Ensure the student's assistive technology will work with iTester.
    • Determine whether or not the “Allow Accessibility Mode” accommodation setting must be activated to use the assistive technology.
    • Provide the student an opportunity to practice using the assistive technology with the iTester Kiosk.
  • Please refer to the Testing with Third Party Assistive Technology Guide. This document can be found on the Help and Support site (https://maryland.onlinehelp.cognia.org/guides/) under Guides / eMetric Guides.

The First Pre-ID Window is closed

The enrollments loaded during this Pre-ID window will automatically order your administration manuals and paper test materials. For any enrollments loaded after this time, you will need to order materials through the Additional Materials application.

  • The second Pre-ID window will be December 11 – 18, 2019. During this window you will be able to submit additional updates to enrollments and/or accommodations. Paper materials will not be automatically ordered from records loaded during the second Pre-ID window.
