October 2019 Annual Trainings

Please register for the annual in-person MCAP High School assessment training sessions, which will be held on the following dates:

  • October 22, 2019: LAC Training
  • October 23, 2019: LEA 24 STC Training

Participants must register for these in-person events at the following site: Once on the site, you will need to select 'Maryland HSA' from the drop down and then select the LAC or LEA 24 event in order to complete the registration. Registering for the event ahead of time will allow us to order food for the event. This will also automatically sign you up for reminders for the upcoming meetings.

  • October 24, 2019: Tech Coordinator Webinar

Technology Coordinators must register for the Technical Training webinar at the following link: Registration is required prior to the webinar. After registering, participants will receive a personalized meeting link via email as well as reminders for the upcoming meeting.

Vendor Name Change

Measured Progress has merged with AdvancED. The new company is now known as Cognia. This change will have minimal impact to the American Government and HS MISA administrations. The Help & Support site URL and Helpdesk email address have been updated. The old links will continue to work throughout the 2019-2020 year.

HSA Practice Tests

The online practice test site is currently closed and will open on October 14, 2019.

Updated FAQs for HS MISA & COMAR Document

MSDE has updated their COMAR policy document (updated on 10/25/18). This updated document has been posted to the Maryland Help & Support Guides page under the Policy Documents button (

HSA Help Desk Information
