IMPORTANT: 1st Pre ID Window closes Friday, November 12th

The first Pre-ID window for the January 2022 HS Government and Life Science MISA opened November 1, 2021 and will close on November 12, 2021. Students must be enrolled by close of business on Friday, November 12th as paper materials and manual orders will be based on the enrollments from the first pre-ID file.

Please note the following reminders when selecting students for pre ID enrollment:

  • Government: Students taking HS Government in a semesterized course should be enrolled.
  • Life Science: Students taking Life Science in a semesterized course should be enrolled. Students who were enrolled in the Early Fall HS MISA but did not test, may also be enrolled. Please refer to email sent by Gayle Scott on 10/29 for additional information.

The second Pre-ID window will open on December 9, 2021, and close on December 16, 2021. This window may be used to enroll additional students (e.g., transfer students), however, schools will need to order additional materials for these students during the Additional Materials window (January 4 – February 2, 2022).

Updated Portal User Guide and Kiosk User Guides posted

The Portal User Guide and Kiosk User Guide have been updated to reflect changes for the January 2022 administrations. These guides have been posted to the Maryland Help and Support Site on the Guides / eMetric Guides tab: https://maryland.onlinehelp.cognia.org/guides/

Participation File

Districts received the Early Fall HS MISA participation files on Monday, November 8, 2021. Any corrections must be submitted to MSDE by Friday, November 12th.

Statewide Schedule Tool

School Test Coordinators (STC) are expected to enter the In-person testing schedules for January 2022 HS Government and Life Science MISA on https://itempra.org/schedule. Schedules should be updated as changes occur due to weather or other events.
