Data Cleared from Portal Following January Administration

The January HSA administration will close on February 11, 2022 at 4:00 PM EST. All student data including classes and test sessions will be cleared out of the portal from February 21 -25, 2022 in preparation for the opening of the 1st pre-ID window for the Spring administration.

The first pre-ID window for the Spring HS Government and HS Life Science MISA administrations is February 28 – March 17, 2021. Please ensure that the vast majority of students are enrolled during this window so that your school receives the correct paper test materials as well as adequate number of Test Coordinator and Test Administrator manuals.

Refresher Training PPTs

The PowerPoint presentations from the February 7-8 LAC / LEA 24 and Tech Coordinator training sessions will soon be posted to the Maryland Help and Support Site: https://maryland.onlinehelp.cognia.org/training/ . If you require a more in-depth review of training details, you may also review the October 2021 recorded training sessions and/or PowerPoint presentations on this same page.

Statewide Schedule Tool

School Test Coordinators (STC) are expected to enter the In-person testing schedules for Spring 2022 HS Government and Life Science MISA on https://itempra.org/schedule. Schedules should be updated as changes occur due to weather or other events.

The STC will need the password in order for the schedule to be saved on the tool. The password should not be shared with other staff needing to view the testing schedule. For assistance with the Statewide Schedule Tool please contact your LAC, MSDE (pauline.carey@maryland.gov or paul.katula@maryland.gov), or view the training video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DlxcniNph7A&feature=youtube
